Heads or Tails?

With each day that passes, the 2008 Presidential election comes closer to an end. Over the past several months several campaigns and debates have continually drawn the attention of the media and swayed several million Americans opinions on the matter. As for my own opinion, I lack complete certainty as to who my choice of President is, so I will be spending the next three weeks, with a "complete open mind" exploring the health care debate of the upcoming election. Therefor, what, if any, is the casual relationship between the differing views of health care and the nomination of a candidate?

As an eligible voter for the upcoming election, it is extremely important to understand all viewpoints of this issue. So whether you're in favor of McCain, Obama, or even still undecided, please share your views on this matter.

Is there a relationship existing between differing views about health care and the nomination of a candidate? It is difficult to see the direct causality here. And since you only lack "complete" certainty, you are not allowing yourself to be "completely open" to opinion when your own is in the way. What are your intentions and audience members for this blog? The scene could be set in a direct manner so as to draw more readers in, rather than being a boring, undefined inquiry. Some may or may not vote, or some may or may not care. An inquiry on the direct causal relationship between the candidates' policies on health care and the resulting winner of the election needs to be presented so I know how to respond to this blog.

OK, but how does one really keep an"open mind"? does that mean I have to accept ALL suggestions with the same type of belief? So, do I give equal time here to the fascist and libertarian candidates as to the democratic and republican ones?

By saying I am planning on keeping an open mind I am saying I will be willing to hear all suggestions. I'm not going to just read messages about a candidate I favor. I'm willing to give all suggestions a chance, by taking in what they say.

your undecided voter-

I think we can all agree that the candidates have differing views such as taxes, warfare, and religion. Another one of these differing views is health care. For the people who nominate a candidate based on the candidate's views, health care would have a casual relationship on the nomination of a candidate. Although there are still several other factors, I'm starting out by exploring one. And when I say I lack "complete certainty" I might have been unclear. I'm not that knowledgeable on this election yet, which is sad seeing how it is approaching quickly. I hear facts here and there yet I have not fully analyzed and determined the person I wish to run our country. Therefore, I am not completely certain to who I will be voting for.
